Living Life In God's Light

Not Remotely Hybrid

Conflict among remote, hybrid, and in-office work is a post-Covid battle that continues to rage. Brigette Hyacinth’s LinkedIn post is an needed call for corporate honesty around these policies.

Speaking of which, don’t get me started on companies that offer ‘hybrid’ or ‘remote’ in their job description, and then walk that back to ‘this is not a remote position’.

Companies using obvious bait-and-switch tactics deserve to be taken to the (financial) woodshed. You just advertised you are unreliable and calculating and self-serving. Do you think your leaders will be able to rise above that encouragement toward laziness and greed?

It is more likely that you will attract all of the corporate raiders, future sell-outs of your secrets, and cynical ladder-climbers than workers who want to make a difference.

Congratulations, you’ve just created a comfortable corporate cave for wolves.
